Date Closed: Early 1990s for the store's final location. It operated at this location until c. late 1950s/early 1960s.

Additional Information: Although it moved several times without the years, eventually relocating to Maine, the Samuel Weiser Bookstore was one of the longest running of the Book Row stores. The store sold traditional books but its specialty areas were in the occult, New Age, and Eastern philosophy. The store began its own publishing division in the 1950s to produce new titles and out-of-print titles in these areas.
