Walking tour stop description: This reproduction of a historical tavern stands near the location of Robert Todd's home, where New York City's first ever publicly accessible concert took place on January 21, 1736. The concert was given by the German composer Johann Pachelbel, who played the harpsichord with other performers accompanying him on violin, flute and vocals.
