Walking tour stop description: Officially opened ion November 10, 1993, in celebration of Broadway's centenary, this small display in the lobby of the Frederick Loewe Theater pays tribute to the greats of musical theater with commemorative and informational plaques about the Gershwins, Irving Berlin, Ethel Merman, Oscar Hammerstein II, Cole Porter and many more. Hall of Fame induction ceremonies are held for new honorees every year.
