Opened: The archives were opened in 1971. Armstrong moved into the house in 1943 which was then underwent a 1.6 Million dollar restoration in October 2003 (Dollar, 134-135).
About: Louis Armstrong was described as someone who collected everything and anything (Dollar 34). In a collection filled with memorabilia and artifacts, the Louis Armstrong House and Archives were created and kept at Queens College in 1971.
