• It is ok for the deliveryman to ride the wrong way. He is not just another biker seeking to navigate the convoluted web of Manhattan’s streets. For him, special rules apply: his way is the deliveryman way. New York City’s biketiquette consists of a negotiated contract between pedestrians, drivers and deliverymen allowing the latter to ride their way: the fastest route. (Obstacles)
